DearSandeep, Sona and Sanjog:
We want to express our sincere condolences and sympathy to all of you on the sudden departure of the soul of your dear mother Sunanda Parikar.
The following poem which fully describes Bhagawan’s Leela in simple words:
“He takes our loved ones from us, We know not the reasons why.
We can only comprehend the sorrows in our hearts
He picks them like flowers from a field, Some prepared for his presence,
Some without a chance to yield. He'll choose them and leave alone the others.
It doesn't matter if the ones He chose are someone's Brothers, Sisters, best friends, Mothers or Fathers.
But somehow, after all the tears are cried, We remember all the loving moments with them,
And know with all our hearts, Why God Himself would want them by His side.”
We have had few acquaintances with Sunandaben, a very loveable person, kind and humble and indeed a Punya Athma. Yes, there will be sorrow in the absence of Sunandaben but it is transient and as time goes by, we all can recover and get back to our daily routine. Not so long, life will be back to normal, only if we trust in god and believe in our action. We all miss a noble soul and his absence will likely create emptiness and will take a while for you all to recover from this irretrievable loss. But you do need to appreciate the fact that “she enjoyed mostly a comfortable life with the presence of one or more members Anand Vihar Community.” Indeed she was truly blessed.
Whenever a tragic event strikes, most of the time the family looks for spiritual guidance. Families were always able to quiet their mind by reading and reciting scriptures and more specifically Bhagavad Gita. By this diversion, they were able to focus more on the spiritual aspects of life by talking, reading and listening. This diversion of thoughts is quite necessary to cope up with those tragic events. Tragic events do happen in every family in various ways and no family can escape from them.
We pray for peace to all and for the liberation of the departed soul of Sunandaben,
Ram and Shanthi Chandran
