Ruth Elanor (Cameron) Gross, 95, joined husband Lee and her previously passed loved ones on Friday, Sept, 28, 2019. She left us peacefully, surrounded by her immediate family at her home in Jennifer Gardens. She was born in Benton Read Obituary
Ruth was a great neighbor, friend and golf instructor for many years on Donnelly Street and always had a kind word for everyone. The only time I ever heard her swear was around the late 60's, when I was still in the Air Force and she was trying to back out of Sunset Drugs driveway the next street over. The street was really busy and I come in behind her and laid on my horn...it quickly lit Ruthies short fuse and she came out of her car and gave me a piece of her mind, much to the surprise of some onlookers and myself. When she finally saw it was me she got the loudest laugh I ever heard from her and she never forgot that day. She will be teeing them off with Lee from now on and will be missed by many...!!! Great photo of Mom. She and Aunt Maxine could have passed for twins! Hopefully, they are now together, "jamming" with their guitars and favorite country songs, along with Uncle Peck and Dad. They really loved their musical times together. Bill
