I'm so grateful that a series of events lead to me unexpectedly spending time with my uncle Roger in NY the week before his passing and for having him in my life as like a second father. This has been unbelievably heartbreaking for me, but I'll always remember the last conversation we had and incredible enthusiasm and excitement he expressed for me, greg and our baby due in January. He taught me so much about aviation and was always there to calm my pre- flight anxiety. He always acted as a bridge between our family in NY and Florida, and was just talking about bringing everyone up to visit and get together this November. He was always there to talk to about absolutely anything, laugh with, and I will forever miss spending time with him, especially in my home away from home in Florida with my Godmother Aunt Denise and close cousins Terrence, Lauren, and Brianna who have always been like extended siblings. I know he is watching over us and I couldn't have imagined life without him and his constant compassion, support and positivity. He was truly one of a kind, and will live in my heart forever.
