Grandma was one in a million. I always say her and Grandpa were “something out of a Hallmark movie” and we are all incredibly blessed to have had her in our lives and to be born a part of this family.
I’m so thankful she had so much time here on Earth with us, and that I and my children got to make many wonderful memories with her.
She always made it a priority for all of us to gather as much as possible for the Holidays throughout the year, birthdays, vacations, and sometimes just a good ole girls night out!
She loved each and every one of us deeply and enjoyed spending time and bonding over doing what each of us loved. Whether it was teaching us how to decorate cakes, sew, cook a few of her dishes, shop, etc, she made sure to have many special moments with us all. I will forever cherish those moments and everything she taught me.
Like Sarah said, Christmas was always magical to us as kids growing up, as they still are, and have been to our children. The giant tree, decorations in every room, the Christmas village. Dozens of us gathered opening gifts and being together.
She was also so wise and caring. Many times we would spend hours over coffee chatting about life. She gave me some of the most important advice throughout my life and I credit her majorly for the person I am today. I will always live by her example.
She was kind, wise, fun, fair, loving, and so much more that simply cannot be put into words in one short post.
I know you are back with your love, Grandpa, and that we all have the best angel to look over us now. <3 Lisa
