Murry Neil Fisher
August 16, 1940 – March 2, 2026
It is with profound sadness that the family of Murry Neil. Fisher announces his peaceful passing on March 2, 2026, at 85.
Son of the late Murry and Christina Fisher. Beloved husband of 62 Years to Nelda J Fisher; Loving father of Cheryl (Tim) Lynch, Karrie (Matt) Peters, and Kellyanne (George) Villalobos; grandfather of Mason (Tayler) Lynch, Clayton Lynch, Madison and James Peters, (the late) Vincent and Adrian Villalobos; great-grandfather of Reid Lynch, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
Born in Wardell, MO, Murry along with his family moved to the city of St. Louis, MO when he was 4. He spent his youth playing baseball with his friends after school. At a young age, Murry found his first love, cars. His love of things with a motor, soon lead to his next passion, boating. Little did he know that this love of boating would lead to meeting his future bride, Nelda. Later, the two married and have been together ever since.
Murry was a naturally gifted artist which led to his love of engineering and creating. He had an incredible work ethic and if he did anything it was going to be as close to perfect as he could get. Murry was proud of all his achievements, but what brought him the most pride was his family. He loved his family, blood related or three times removed, it did not matter, family is forever. Being one to never give up, there wasn’t a challenge he could not overcome. Some may call it stubbornness, but he always put up a fight and fought until the end. As he would always say, “I’ve been fighting to stay alive since the day I was born”.
Murry is survived by his wife, Nelda; his children Cheryl, Karrie, and Kellyanne; grandchildren, great-grandson, nieces, and nephew. His compassion, warmth, sincerity, wit, and enduring spirit will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
