Mary Cronin Wilson's Obituary
Mary Cronin Wilson, “Nan,” age 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2024, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on February 13, 1939, in London, England, to Timothy Cronin and Ellen Daly, one of nine siblings. She relocated to the United States in 1960, making her home in New York. In 1963, she married William “Bill” Wilson, and in 1967, they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Lorraine. The family moved to Florida in 1971. It was here that she began her career in new home sales and found great success in this field, truly “a force to be reckoned with.” She retired from sales in 2006 to enjoy her grandchildren.
Mary enjoyed gardening, painting, reading, tending to her property, and spending time with family and friends. Anyone that knew Mary would describe her as loyal, loving, empathic, kind, faithful, hardworking, dedicated, determined, trustworthy, funny, chatty, and warm-hearted.
Mary is survived by her companion Louis, daughter Lorraine (Mark), grandchildren Joey and Olivia, brothers John and Eddie, and her nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life for Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 4-7pm. Please contact the family for details.
Mary’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Patti from Patti’s Angels for her unwavering and compassionate care during Mary's final days. Mary referred to Patti as her “angel on earth.” Patti took what could have been a terrible experience and helped turn it into a beautiful ending.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Mary’s memory to Patti’s Angels Healthcare Advocates, LLC at 5512 Spectacular Bid Drive, Wesley Chapel, FL 33544.
