Mark Edward Jensen's Obituary
Mark Edward Jensen was a devoted husband, proud father, and loyal friend. a true rock for his family. He faced a terrible disease with courage and strength, giving cancer the fight of its life while continuing to pour endless love into those around him.
Mark was more than a husband to his beloved wife, Catherine Limone-Jensen; he was her soulmate and best friend. Together they shared a life built on love, laughter, and faith. Mark found joy in the simple moments, reading books and racing cars on the floor with his granddaughter, sharing good food, and listening to music. He had a special place in his youthful heart for music festivals and electronic music, as well as travel. He thought he was Guy Fieri; he loved to cook, watch cooking channels, Great American Family, and listen to Christian Music. Mark could light up any room with his enthusiasm and humor.
Mark was a true patriot; he held a deep respect for the flag and his country. He supported the Tunnel to Towers Foundation with pride and believed deeply in giving back. His faith in God and his love for his family guided everything he did.
Mark loved his work at Bill Currie Ford, where he served as IT Director for 25 years, where he brought dedication, kindness, and humor to every day. His colleagues and friends will remember him for his warmth, quick wit, and generous spirit.
Mark had the biggest heart and the kindest soul. Heaven has truly gained an angel.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Limone-Jensen; unconditional love of daughter Dominique Limone-Hoagland and her husband, and his best friend, Benjamin Hoagland; granddaughter “Papa’s girl,” Harlow; his niece, who adored him, Haleemah Limone.
His daughters Becky, Kimberly, and her husband Kevin, and their daughters Harper and Emerson; and daughter Ashley Marcum and her husband Cameron, and their son Oakley. He is also survived by his brother Michael and wife Julie, and their son TJ.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Edna May and Merle Eugene Jensen.
A private burial will be held for the immediate family.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to Mark’s favorite charity, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
