Mariam Peterson's Obituary
Mariam Peterson, born on October 19, 1940, in Providence, Rhode Island, to Vartan and Margaret Marabian, passed away on February 20, 2025, in Trinity, Florida, in the loving arms of her husband, Carl B. Peterson.
Mariam spent her early years in Providence, where she was educated and resided for many years. She later moved to Narragansett, Rhode Island, where she lived for 25 years. A devout woman of faith, Mariam was a dedicated member of St. Vartanantz Church in Providence where she officially became Mrs. Mariam Peterson by taking Carl's hand in holy matrimony. Leaving for Florida Mariam did not cut her ties with St. Vartanantz Church and was still a devoted member up until her passing.
For the past 30 years, Mariam made her home in the Tampa Bay area, where she became an active member of Generations Christian Church in Trinity, Florida. She had a passion for travel, especially by cruise, and was fortunate to embark on 40 cruises throughout her life. Her last four cruises, shared with her beloved Carl, took her to the beautiful destinations of Costa Rica and the Panama Canal.
Mariam is survived by her devoted husband, Carl B. Peterson of Trinity, Florida, and many nephews and cousins in both Rhode Island and California. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and her brother.
Mariam's warmth, faith, and love for adventure will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
