today I wore your shirt and necklace to work. it has honestly been the longest 2 years ever without you. I miss you and think about you every single day but I know you’re by our side every step of the way. Inaayah and I like to look at pictures of you and watch videos of you and we all talk about you every single day. I know you were proud of me when I graduated high school and I can only hope you were there and proud when I graduated college and Inaayah graduated high school. you would be so excited to know I’m going to graduate school to get my masters degree too. Inaayah and I would not be where we are today without you and Nani and everything you guys have done for us so I thank you both everyday for the lives you provided us. we love you endlessly and I hope you feel that. 🦁❤️

Dad,
It pains my heart that it's been a year without your smile, your laughter, your jokes and your love. No one understands all the trials and tribulations we went through for 12 years and how sometimes it broke me but I would do it all over again in a heartbeat if you were here. Life will never be the same without you. I miss all the good times and your spirit. We had a lot of them but I also missed out on so much of life without you that you were supposed to be here for.
