I first met Krishnakumar Pradhan in Mangalore in 1989 through my wife, as his daughter Sangeeta and my wife were childhood friends. From the very first meeting, he came across as a warm, jovial, and genuinely down to earth person. He had a natural way of making people feel comfortable and welcomed.

I met him again in Boston in 2014, and despite the many years in between, he was the same kind, gracious, and warm soul. It felt like reconnecting with someone familiar rather than meeting after a long gap.

My heartfelt condolences to Sangeeta, Sandeep, Sachin, and his loving wife Shubhada. His life touched many people, and his memory will live on through the love, values, and goodness he shared. May his soul rest in peace, and may the family find strength and comfort in the beautiful memories he leaves behind.

I am so very emotional to share some fond memories of Bhaikaka.
He was the most positive, generous, hardworking and loving father figure in my life.
I remember, when he was in Saudi and he would come on a vacation to India ever year, we all used to go to the airport to drop him off and then again to receive him. I cannot forget the excitement I had in my heart and me and Sangu would be somewhere upstairs watching people arriving with their baggage and would se Bhaikaka’s hand pointing at the suitcases! And we would should saying look there he is!
We used to be pampered with so many toys, clothes, sweets snd chocolates and what not and Bhaikaka and Kaki would remember to get a present for each and every one of us without fail. This gesture was very special to me and taught me to be thoughtful.
Once he had got me a laughing toy which looked like a transistor and was peach coloured and when you would press the button, you would hear a toddler laughing! I used to love that so much with a lovely red maxi he got for me.
Me and Sangu would wear matching clothes from Saudi with just the colour difference.
I loved the way Bhaikaka would tell the stories with his Big eyes and how we would all laugh together.
He never missed a single birthday or anniversary of his loved ones and him and Shubhakaki would always call to give their love and blessings 🙏🏽
I am very grateful for being his niece who he always treated like his second daughter🙏🏽
Although I got to spend only short time with him, mainly in my childhood, I will cherish these priceless memories created with him through out my life. 🥰 He has a very special place in my heart which words cannot express.🙏🏽
