Jonathon Roger “JR” Morrell passed peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from complications due to T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T-Cell ALL) at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. JR was Read Obituary
Have known Jon since his early days at Zamias. Always enjoyed bantering with him over our love for our home teams. Of course he was black and gold and we are Bostonians.
Great memories of hanging out with him and Dan Prohonic at the trade shows every year.
An absolute pleasure to know him. He and his family are in our prayers during this very difficult time. Hold on to the great memories!

I got to know Jon when working at Zamias and always enjoyed his friendship. Maddison and my son Bobby were good friends as well (Westmont). I recently had an email exchange with Jon and so humbled that I did. We talked about friendship and prayer in that exchange and I will forever remember (and save) that correspondence. My thoughts and prayers are with your entire Family - He was a good one... I will miss him!

I remember Chris and JR as part of the many children we had in the neighborhood. We watched them grow up and when JR and Lisa got married, I was privileged to perform the wedding ceremony for them. I will always remember that day and will remember especially, just prior to the start of the service, looking over at Chris, who was his brother's best man. Chris was sweating noticeably.
