James Taylor's Obituary
On Saturday, February 3, 2018, James John Taylor passed away at the age of 70 after his second battle with cancer. J.J. will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Sina, two daughters, Cindy (Chris) and Catherine (Robert), and two grandchildren, Jay and Taylor. He is also remembered by his sisters, Jane and Janet, and was predeceased by his brother, John.
J.J. had an adventurous life. He was born and raised in Hutchinson, Kansas. In 1967 he started his 9 year-long tenure in the Navy where he met his wife, Sina, on the pacific island of Guam. After honorably discharging from the Navy, he started his career with Digital Equipment Corporation, now Hewlett-Packard, as Field Service Engineer. He retired from Hewlett-Packard in 2013 after over 35 years of service and enjoyed a peaceful retirement in Tampa with his family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 10th, at 1:00pm at Keystone United Methodist Church (16301 Race Track Rd. Odessa, FL 33556).
