Paul and Ralph said they didn't remember Jim all that well--that he was quiet and well-behaved. Phyllis and Glennys recalled that he was always telling kind of scary stories out at Grandpa & Grandma Taylor's when they were all much younger. Betty and I remember that when we saw him at Johnny's service, he was sad, but tried to be cheerful. He was very cognizant of other people. He will be missed by everyone, and our condolences go out to the entire family.

I worked with JJ for 6 years . I made a transfer from N.Y., JJ was my first and only friend in Florida in the first year, a great human being with an immense heart. RIP JJ.

I worked with JJ for several years in Digital’s Tampa office. We did most of our work together at MacDill AFB. JJ was a good person and a good friend. He was also good at helping me stir things up around the office every now and then.

I worked alongside JJ for many years at Digital Equipment Corporation. He was a great engineer but a better man and friend and will be missed. JJ always seemed to be around to graciously extract me from some difficult situation - usually of my own making. My sympathies and condolences are with his family during this time.
