Frank Vignera's Obituary
Frank Vignera, 81, of Land O’ Lakes, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, at Gulfside Healthcare Services in Zephyrhills, FL. Born on March 13, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York, he was the cherished son of the late Charles and Mary Conti-Vignera.
Frank was the devoted husband of Rosaria Cilluffo-Vignera, and a loving father to Frank and Robert Vignera. He was also a loving father-in-law to Stephanie Lauria-Vignera and a treasured grandfather to Brianna and Julia Vignera. Also survived by his beloved sisters, Josephine Vignera-Leffler and Barbara Vignera-Baskin, and his dear nieces: Mary Leffler-Testa, Lynn Leffler, Susan Leffler, Taylor Baskin-Roman, and many other loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Frank dedicated many years of service as a newspaper foreman at the Daily News in New York and honorably served in the United States Navy. He had a passion for writing poetry, enjoyed westerns and mystery shows, and was known for his sweet tooth and warm heart. His kindness and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He shared lifelong friendships with Benny Rao and Owen Levy, who were like brothers to him. Frank’s memory will be lovingly carried on by his family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Memorial Gardens, located at 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, FL 34655. A burial service will follow immediately after.
