One never forgets how someone made them feel and Mr. Anderson made me feel welcome in his home and family immediately. He not only made me feel welcome, he was also welcoming to my son, Benjamin, who quickly got the nickname “Uncle Benji”. I will remember his deep belly laugh when Dwayne said a Dwayne thing. ☺️ And the way he said “Rudyard” in a strong happy voice when he called. I could hear him asking about me from another room. He was caring and kind. A true family man. And I will miss him.

Rest in eternal peace, Mr. Anderson.

I have a few fond memories of Mr. Egerton as I always call him. He has always greeted me with a smile and asked where or how is Vernon. What stood out the most was after his trip to Tahiti I saw him at our Christmas social and during our conversation about the trip he just grinning from ear to ear and could not stop talking about what a wonderful time with the family he had. He then suggest that myself and Vernon must visit this awesome Island.

Papa Andy was an outstanding young man. His smile and wisdom would carry you over the moon. He always had a joke to make you laugh. Just a peaceful and loving person. Thank you God for blessing us with the times we had with. Memories are precious.

My heart still reaches for you, "Unc." Losing you has left a silence that echoes the phone not ringing with your voice asking how you are. "DUUG's. I miss you more than words can hold. You were the uncle who made me believe in goodness, in family, in that rare “forever-kind-of-love” that doesn’t come with a terms-of-service agreement.
I’ll carry you in every breath, every unnecessarily kind act, every time I choose patience over cussing out the person who just cut me off on I-285 (you’d be proud… mostly).
Your light hasn't gone out—it lives in me, in all of us who were lucky enough to be loved by you, and it is incredible.
Rest easy, my dear Unc. You were cherished beyond measure—loved so hard even the universe is jealous it didn't get more time with you.
