George and I were so sad to hear of Ed's passing. He was truly a wonderful soul and his expertise at growing and grafting roses was well known. He was always the Entries Chairman at all of Tampa Rose Society's Rose Shows. If Ed found something wrong with a Rose entry, he would always inform the exhibitor so that they could correct their entry so as not to be disqualified by the judges. Although we no longer live in the Tampa Bay Area, distance makes no difference when you love a friend. God bless you Ed.

Uncle Eddie was a kind and patient soul, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His generous spirit and gentle nature touched the lives of many, and his love for roses was a beautiful reflection of the care and warmth he showed to those around him.

Some of my fondest memories with him and Aunt Monica were the weekends spent at their home, where I learned to swim in their pool. Those moments of laughter, encouragement, and calm patience will forever hold a special place in my heart.

His legacy of kindness and love will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who knew him, just like the roses he so dearly loved.
