Michael and Lily, i am beyond grateful for the memories and time I shared with Dona. She was a creative teacher, fierce fighter for her students and a devoted and loyal friend. Her energy and support allowed me to grow in ways I never would have explored on my own. My best years were with her as a Gila Monster! Much love to you both.

One of my favorite memories with Auntie D was when we were talking about what our favorite hobbies were. When I would mention how I like reading and puzzles, she would go “I do too! Omg she’s just like me!”
