Although I never even met Devyn, I knew him through the heart of his mother. A mother who fought for him from birth, and all the way to his final moments. She never gave up hope for his future, never gave up hope for his recovery, and never gave up on his beautiful, wild spirit. He was always in my prayers as was Sheila's entire family. Devyn had my hopes, and thoughts right along with hers. Sheila, thank you so much for sharing your son's journey with me.
My heart can't even conceive suffering such a tragic loss. Please know that you and your entire family are always in my prayers, and forever in my thoughts.
