I pray for you Dorothy and family in such a great loss, to have known David was a blessing to me.He was a crazy cousin who with his brother Doug and I raised havoc in the Baldwin area on many a night before Halloween. A few situations brought the Baldwin police cruising our streets.

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Winter. With his accomplishments, and dedications, both in his professional life and personal one, he was an amazing man! I won't pretend to know what you're going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is John 11:25, which says, " Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." I hope that this verse will also comfort you and, I hope you and your family can get through this difficult time. This is a very sad news, and a very big surprise. Here is the last mail I received from David Oct 30, 2015:

I encoutered David the first time in Brussels and in Germany, this was arround 1982, and always appreciated David, in work and after work.
