Daniel Palmisano Jr.'s Obituary
Daniel A. Palmisano, Jr., 68, of Oldsmar, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 16, 2017. He was born April 27, 1949, in New York, NY, to Daniel and Mary Lou Palmisano. He was a graduate of Adelphi University, and Massachusetts College of Optometry. He practiced optometry in Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough County. He loved the Lord, and was a man of faith. He was an avid reader, especially books about history. He enjoyed all types of music, particularly classical and gospel music. He had a passion for travel, both domestic and international, and was an expert trip planner. He also enjoyed being at home, being a handy-man and solving problems. He loved practicing optometry, and he truly cared for his patients, always doing his best to help each one of them. He was a good and loyal friend to his many friends. He was a loving and devoted husband, a wise and caring father, and an adoring Papa to his precious grandchildren. He lived each day with a smile on his face, and a happiness that radiated from his heart. He will be remembered for his kindness, his joy and happiness, his good character, his strong faith in the Lord, his wisdom, his sharp wit and sense of humor, and his positive attitude with each day.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Mary Lou Palmisano.
Dan is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn; son Brent (Holly); son Daniel, III (Ashleigh); and grandchildren Siena, Layla, Cade, Pasqualina, and Raea. He is also survived by his sister Patricia, and brothers Anthony and Joseph.
