The veil was very thin last night I got spend time with my friend laughing at bad movies talking about all the times we used to play D&D. I think it was finally time for him to let me know said he forgives me for letting our friendship Fall Away.
I loved you Chris... was just too young to know it..Please Forgive me... you were my Knight in Shinning armor and I just didn't realize it.. its all baby steps... you helped me even when I didn't deserve it. I will always love you! God speed special man
Deeply saddened by Christopher's passing. I knew him as "Chris" when we were both in High School. The NJROTC/Military Science course at Gulf HS brought us together from the different grades as a close circle of friends. Chris was everyone's friend, he was very smart, always positive and kindhearted, and there could be no doubt that he would follow his passions in life and live life to its fullest. I am glad to read about Chris's legacy and his strength through the words of his friends and loved ones.

So incredibly sad to hear of Mr.Gamel's death. One of the greatest people that God put into my life. Had his AP U.S. history class back in high school, and my brother had him when he was in high school. Mr.Gamel is the reason I fell in love with history and politics, he sparked my interest in pursuing a degree in American History and Political Science. I have so many fond memories being in his class, and having him let his students have open discussions on the topics, when he would share his funny sometimes sad stories with us. How much he truly cared for his students was beyond words to describe it. Mr.Gamel let you speak, and challenge ideas and thoughts of others and himself (in a productive way) something not many teachers were capable of. I always told Mr. Gamel , you are a hard on the outside big softie on the inside. And he would laugh so hard. I looked up to Mr.Gamel, he was like a second dad to me. He was a great human being, who I attribute a lot of my future success too.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Gamel's family and friends. I know he was a wonderful history teacher and my son thought a lot of him. Im sure he will be missed by many. He really cared about the students and their success. Many prayers.
Mr. Gamel is someone I could never forget. He was a great teacher. The passion in which he taught is something that will always stay with me. Losing him is a significant loss to the community, his family and friends. I have to work at my hospital in Tampa on Friday so I have to miss the service but I will be there in spirit. My condolences to his family and friends.
I knew Chris only for the past couple of years. Yet, he had a big impact on my life even in that short period of time. I will greatly miss his Wit, Zest, and Passion! Honestly, still coming to terms with his loss. As I am sure is the case with all of his friends and family.
Rest in peace my dear friend.......you will be sorely missed by all!

I’ve known Chris most of his adult life and I can definitely say I’m going to miss him. From endless hours of gaming to great battles in the SCA. Remember “Skillet Hill”! Can’t forget our shared love of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the great metal band Slayer. I’ll always see him riding his Harley blaring Slayer on the bike’s speakers. I mean, who does that? Chris did and it was always epic! I’ll always remember the times we shared...some quiet and some just legendary. I love you man and my heart hurts...see you in Valhalla my friend! - Andy
