Benny was my closest big brother in a family of seven other siblings. We were born 8 years apart and so I looked up to him. He loved the 50s cars in his High School years in Hartford. He made beautifully crafted items such as a veneer inlay jewelry box and a beautiful model of Columbus's ship, the Santa Maria. He also loved making the Revell models of wooden war ships and plastic fighter planes. I saw him as being artistic and maybe that lead me to taking up a career in art.
