William Tannebaum's Obituary
William aka Bill M. Tannebaum, 62, of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Suncoast Hospice Center, Empath Health, Palm Harbor, FL. Bill was born October 16, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland. Bill was diagnosed in late September of 2013 with liver failure. He had Rheumatoid, Psoriasis Arthritis. He took the medications prescribed including Methotrexate in combination with Symponi; as well as other biologics in the past, but his liver was never checked. NOW, THEY TELL YOU!!!
Bill was married to the love of his life Lillian Elizabeth aka Lee Ohley-Tannebaum. They met in Frederick, MD in the late spring of 2003, married on Clearwater Beach, FL Oct. 15, 2005. Bill is survived by his only daughter, Lauren Tannebaum Shannon, whom he adored, his beloved grandchildren Julia, Alayna, and Cain Shannon, and her husband Harold Shannon,his son-in-law of Windsor Mill, Maryland. Bill is survived by his parents are Harvey and T. Gloria Tannebaum of New Port Richey, FL; his sister, Lourie F. Silberman and her husband Eric of New Port Richey, FL, his sister, Susan R. Doyle, her husband, James, nephews: Joseph, Daniel, and Jeremy Doyle of Taneytown, Maryland. Bill is survived by his Aunt Bonnie David of Palm Desert,California and Uncle Jeffrey Miller of Pikesville, MD. Bill survived by his step son Curtis M. Tregoning, of Urbana, Maryland, his wife Christine, granddaughters Quinn and Gabrielle. Step son Matthew S. Tregoning of Bracey,Virginia, and Lisa A. Tregoning Blackwood, her husband, Christopher, grandchildren Bradley Tregoning and Brooke Blackwood of Clarksburg, Maryland. Bill had many loving cousins in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvainia, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Florida, California, Nevada, and Colorado. He was fortunate to visit with each and everyone. Bill was active in Boy Scouts mastering Eagle Scout and his Hebrew Youth Group B.B. Bill was a member of Beth Israel Congregation in Owings Mills, Maryland. He attended Congregation Beth Shalom in Clearwater, FL. Rabbi David Weizman, conducted the graveside services, at which time Rabbi David Weizman spoke of his love of attending numerous musical concerts over a 40 year period, love for family and friends, at Beit Olam Cemetery in Trinity Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Bill was in the business world, studied at Towson State, and sold many food related items. His greatest joy was working for Disney World, dining reservations. They wanted him for management, but his disease prevented him from continuing to work. He retired in 2007, but kept active at home and cooking numerous foods. Bill and Lee enjoyed time with family, friends, and because of their former Disney Timeshare, they were able to travel to visit relatives and friends.
Bill was laid to rest on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017 at 11:00AM. Many family and friends traveled from Maryland, Virginia, on Skype, and locally to say goodbye to a life well lived. He is already missed; as is his smile and energy. He loved life, wife, daughter, grandchildren, family and friends.
