William H. Barber of Tampa, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020. Funeral Services will be held at Trinity Memorial Gardens on Saturday, January 11, 2020. There will be a viewing period from 12pm to 1pm followed by a service and burial.
Bill was born in Bonham, Texas on November 24, 1944 and was the first of two children born to Mary Frances Terry and William H. Barber, Sr. He married Debra Paul on March 26th, 1986. Bill graduated from Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in information technology. He was founder and CEO of Information Computer Systems Institute in Allentown, PA and Lehigh Data Processing Institute in Reading, PA. He also served in the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1968 as a private in the 1st Infantry Division in the U.S. Army.
William is survived by his spouse Debra Barber, sons Christopher Barber and Nicholas Barber and daughter-in-law Laura Barber. He is also survived by his sister Linda Brooks, and half brothers Chuck Barber and Michael Barber. Preceded in death by half sister Kathy Miake.
