Virginia Photos 's Obituary
Virginia Aubrey Photos went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Monday, November 12th, 2018. Virginia was born in Chicago, Illinois to Dr. Donald and Mae Aubrey, loving parents who instilled a lifelong commitment to compassion, style and family that Virginia brought to all those around her. Affectionately known to some as Virginia, Ginny, Jeannie, Mom or Grandma she was a caring and loving woman who will be greatly missed by all those that were fortunate enough to have known her.
Virginia loved her hometown of Chicago and while she moved to Florida in the 1970's, she always had great memories of her years in Chicago with her lifelong friends Marion Mazeika and Joan Jean. She loved traveling and especially enjoyed the mountains in Tennessee where she visited many times over the years with her daughter's Michelle and Kelly and their families. She also loved visiting Anna Maria Island with her son Mike and his family where great memories were made each year. She also had a special place in her heart for Greece where she spent a week that created a lifetime of memories with her daughter Kelly.
Virginia spent over 20 years as a Nurse and enjoyed taking care of her patients, yet always balanced her professional and family life. As she got older, she loved to "talk shop" with Nurses and Doctors and it was always nice to see how much knowledge she had from her Nursing career. Throughout Virginia's life, she was a devout Catholic and it was not uncommon to see her, Rosary in hand, with her Bible and other readings around her looking at travel and History books while recalling fond memories of her children, grandchildren and travels. She was proud of her Catholic faith and love for Jesus Christ and walked that faith religiously. It has already been said that for such a petite woman, she filled such a big space in our lives. We will miss her greatly. Virginia lived over 76 years and is survived by her 3 Children; Michael and his wife Sasskya, Michelle, Kelly and 6 grandchildren; Jennifer, Mackenzie, Nicholas, Madison, Sophia and Caleb. While we will miss her greatly, we take comfort in knowing that she is with The Lord, her loving parents and that we will see her again in Heaven.
