Verlyn Spivey's Obituary
Spivey, Verlyn, 86, of Citrus Park and Dade City, passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, August 26. He was a Retired Army Sergeant Major in Special Forces. He loved to fish and hunt. Verlyn was Owner and Consultant of Spivey Utility. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sandra; 5 children, Dan (Ann), Jim (Denise), Tim, Steve (Yvette), and Colette (David) Lazar; 10 grandchildren, Steve(Courtney), Matt (Nichole), Joseph (Ashley), Mitchell (Kimberly), Cory, Colena, Colesa, Cody, Jarryd, and Kendra; and 4 great grandchildren, Mason, Makinley, Taylor, and Cory; brother, Zean; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Friday, August 29 from 6-8 p.m. with funeral service on Saturday, August 30 at 3 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
