Tony Manuel Martinez's Obituary
Tony Manuel Martinez, 61 of Wesley Chapel, Florida was born on October 06, 1960 in Japan at Johnson Air Force Base (USAF). He passed away peacefully on November 23, 2021.
Tony honorably and proudly served our country in the United States Army during his early years. He worked at Sears as an an appliance specialist for decades. He later found his calling as a Sales Manager at Famous Tate where coworkers became a family.
He was preceded in death by his father Jose Antonio (Tony) Martinez and survived by his mother Norma (Hernandez) Fernandez, loving wife, Myong Moon; two daughters, Kassandra (Martinez)Hampton and husband Matthew, and Lisa Gonzalez; granddaughter Isla Hampton; siblings, Lachelle(Chachi), Dennis, Cindy, and Deneen (Martinez) Lavandera and husband Jose; Tía and Tío, Sylvia and Mickey Suarez and Tío Evelio Hernandez Jr.; nieces Maddison Fernandez, Gabriela, Eleonora and Scarlett Tyre, Eunji and Hyeonji Paek; nephews Ryan Tyre and wife Julie, Joseph Lavandera and wife Jasmine, and Nino Lavandera; cousins, Michael Suarez and wife Natalie, Troy Suarez and wife Kiki, Brian Suarez, Kiersten (Suarez ) Haupt, Kaitlynn (Suarez) Miller and husband Brandon, Colin Suarez, and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Tony will be forever missed, but never forgotten. He was a thoughtful and caring husband and supported his wife in all her endeavors. His tía, tío and cousins always held a special place in his heart. He loved getting together with friends and family, telling elaborate stories from the past. He enjoyed watching Syfy movies and Korean telenovelas, anime cartoons, singing karaoke, and watching the Bucs. He lived life to its fullest with constant humor and laughter. He was strong, brave, and selfless to the end. He was truly loved by everyone who knew him. We know he is one of God's newest angels who has passed on to a better place where he is forever at peace. We love you, Papa, always and forever.
The family will begin accepting friends at Trinity Memorial Gardens on Friday, December 10, 2021, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm, and a memorial service will follow at 2 pm. Tony will be laid to rest following military honors in Trinity Memorial Gardens at 3:30 pm.
