Tim Wiemer's Obituary
Timothy “Tim” Charles Wiemer (69), of Trinity, Florida, passed away on July 8, 2026, surrounded by family.
Tim was born on April 14, 1957, in Burlington, Wisconsin, to Charles and Alberta Wiemer. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Burlington, and then attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering, where he earned a degree in electrical engineering.
After graduating from MSOE, Tim worked at electric motor companies in Illinois and Wisconsin. Though he was educated in engineering, he viewed sales as his professional expertise, and he was recognized in the industry as an excellent salesman. After many years of working for others, Tim ventured out on his own, ultimately creating his own small business, Motor Sourcing Inc. He was very proud of the work that he did, and grateful to his business partners and colleagues who helped him achieve his dream of working for himself.
From an early age, Tim developed a love of music that continued for the rest of his life. A talented drummer (and accordion player) in his own right, one of his favorite things to do was attend a rock and roll concert with family and friends. Rock music from the 70s and 90s was the soundtrack of Tim’s life, and you could be sure that he would ask you to “put on some tunes” whenever you saw him. Pink Floyd was always Tim’s favorite group, but, depending on the day, a number of other rock bands could find themselves at number two on his list. Right until the very end, Tim would always ask you to turn the music up—and he would remind you that if you thought the music was too loud, that meant that you were too old.
Tim is survived by his wife, Wanda Diaz; his sister, Carol Lois, and brothers, Dave (Barbara) Wiemer and Tom (Doreen) Wiemer; his children, Jamie (Allie) Cimpl-Wiemer, Steve (Ashleigh) Wiemer, Kimberly (Sam) Vos, Tim (Dana) Wiemer, and step-daughters Melissa (Ronnie) Imburgia, and Desiree (Victor) Herrera; grandchildren, Evie, Jack, Tilly, Charlie, Henry, Ethan, Wesley, Wyatt, Willow, Giselle, Gabriella (Ethan), Dominic, Alex, and Vinny; and great-grandchild Jacquelyn. Tim was preceded in death by his parents; his mother-in-law, Agustina Carrión; his step-son, Ernie Quiles; his brother-in-law, Lenny Lois; and his niece and goddaughter, Kathryn Wiemer.
Visitation will be held on July 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Trinity Memorial Funeral Home (12609 Memorial Dr, Trinity FL 34655). A service to remember and celebrate Tim’s life will take place at 2:00 p.m., with a burial ceremony to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
