Dear Terrie, I just joined the GTEDS site and just saw the post about Tommy. I'm sorry for your loss. I know you were both enjoying retirement as I am since 2003 for me. It's hard to put in words the positive affect Tom had on everyone he knew and met. Like others have said, he never met a stranger. Thinking back on our times growing up in Forest Hills, we always had something going on that kept us entertained. Summers were spent playing sandlot baseball, swimming in Lake Carroll and riding our bikes for miles. Tom always liked to tell stories about our adventures as teenagers, sometimes taking liberty to spice the story up. When the last hurricane threatened Florida, we were preparing to evacuate to Georgia in our RV. Tom and Teresa convinced us to come to their home instead, which we always be grateful. Memories of Tom will live in our hearts forever.

Tommy was a kind, non judgmental, honest, and a very funny person. I never knew what to expect with Tommy, there was never a dull moment. He was always entertaining me with his conversations and actions. Tommy had a wild imagination and could solve any problem. In his life he worked very hard at his job and at home. He spent most of his time outside enjoying nature. He loved his pineapple plants, hibiscus flowers and had the most beautiful well groomed yard. He was a party person no matter how he was feeling that day. He never complained about anything. He liked to drink his beer and to barbeque for everyone. He was the entertainment. His man cave was his sanctuary. He would spend hours in his man cave with his buddies John Crouse and Kevin Miller. Tommy and my mother would have happy hour in the man cave each afternoon. They would try to solve all the worlds problems. He would always say "what happens in the man cave stays in the man cave".
I never knew anyone that did not like Tommy. He never met a stranger and would have a conversation with everyone he met. He was a good friend to all and a great Dad to his sons. He spent a lot of time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren teaching life's lessons and having fun.
As my husband he was loving, patient and caring. My happiness was his priority. I have a lot of memories of our 42 years of life together. We had a happy and strong relationship. Tommy and I would talk about anything no matter what. Even if we had different opinions, we respected each others views. We always spent a lot of time doing things together. I will miss him everyday even though I know he is in a better place now. He is not in pain any more, he is not suffering and his body is whole. Someday I will join him at his party in heaven.

R.I.P Tommy sending out love and peace to family in this time, I was reminiscing about Tommy and Me younger child hood days was remembering when we took a razor blade cut our arms till bleeding an stuck our arms together and made an oath of blood brothers.I always considered Tommy as my funny friend he could laugh at more happing than I can think off. Our family’s lived only blocks away so we spent a lot of time together at his house our mine. My mom and his had a close relationship. Tommy and I enjoyed a great friend ship together growing up. Even after we both got married and had kids we spent times together. In the later days I would join Tommy on Skype chatting visual with him as he sat in his Garage and the one day I drove my Harley over to see him, I remember talking about our relationship and Faith in God and personal relationship with Jesus. Tommy I know with out a shadow of a doubt your standing with Jesus right now no more pain or suffering. I know for sure Jesus and angels will enjoy your laughter and funny way you always had. Our deepest sympathies to Theresa and the family. Tommy was a special person and friend to us. Having known Tommy for 40 years, working at GTE / Verizon in the Tampa North Building Operations team, he always kept us laughing. Work was not work when Tommy was there. His outlook on life and everything he did inspired those around him. All the memorable times we shared at work, the weekend trips to Cedar Key or sitting in his man cave were special.
Tommy, you were one of a kind and we miss you. It was a pleasure and a privilege to share our lives with you. Rest in peace my friend.

Condolences to Terrie and the family for the loss of Tommy. Although I did not work with him directly, my brother Carl Fulton did. He was well thought of and a great worker for GTE. I worked for Terrie who often spoke about Tommy with such love. It was easy to see they were soulmates. Rest in peace Tommy your work here is done... now you join the best telephone company of all Heaven's telephone company. You don't need a union there because everybody is on the same team. God chooses only the best and I guess that's why he chose you. Your suffering is over. Prayers for your entire family as they go through this difficult time.

Muzzio I can't believe your gone! Despite all the health issues you endured, you always had a smile on your face and had a joking personality. You were always willing to lend a hand or share your knowledge about anything. I will always remember the happy hours we shared together in the mancave trying to solve all the problems of this world. I will miss the tribal council meetings that we started and all the funny tribal names we gave to everyone who came into the mancave. I consider myself lucky to have met you and will always cherish the time we shared until we meet again someday everytime I hoist my glass I will think of you my friend!!!! RIP Muzzio
