Thomas Greco's Obituary
Thomas Greco passed away on May 20, 2024, in St. Petersburg, Florida just a few miles from his home in Palm Harbor, Florida.
Born to Eleanor and Donato “Tom” Greco on October 11, 1946, in Queens, New York. Thomas was a cherished member of the family, younger brother to the late Anthony Greco. In 1967, Thomas married Patricia Rooney in Corona, New York. This led to the beginning of their shared life and the eventual start of his own family. His love would extend to his two daughters Michele (Greco) Hoffman and Marianne Greco. The family would then move to Florida. Sadly, Paticia would pass in 2004.
Thomas would later meet and marry his current wife Irene (Manning) Greco in 2007. They were married in Tarpon Springs, Florida, beginning their new lives together, later moving to Palm Harbor, Florida.
He is predeceased by his parents Eleanor and Donato, his first wife Patricia, and his brother Anthony and his wife Patricia.
He is survived by his daughter Michele (Greco) Hoffman and her husband Jobert Hoffman, daughter Marianne Greco, wife Irene Greco and her children Donna Manning and Dennis Manning, and grandchildren Shelby-Lynn Manning, Josh Manning, Thomas Alfonso and Shannon Alfonso.
Thomas was a beloved husband, father and family man. He was Navy Veteran, avid golfer, enjoyed traveling and was a fan of the Tampa Bay Rays. In his youth he was musician playing the accordion like his father. He enjoyed entertaining everyone, friends and strangers alike with his annual outdoor Christmas light show. He will be dearly missed, loved and fondly remembered by everyone who knew him. His impact on the people around him is beyond measure and words cannot truly describe the amount of love there is for him.
Visitation viewing service will be held on Saturday May 25, 2024, between the hours of 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Trinity Memorial Gardens, located at 12609 Memorial Dr. Trinity, Florida 34655. A interment service of his ashes will follow on a separate day, date and time to be determined.
