Thomas Luther Fisher
December 31, 1933 – December 19, 2024
Thomas (Tom) Luther Fisher, 90, our beloved father, passed away December 19, 2024. He was born December 31, 1933 in Baltimore, MD to the late Marcellus Fisher and Georgianna Brittingham Fisher. Tom was preceded in death by the love of his life, Milvi Fisher whom he shared 45 years of marriage with. Tom and Milvi had three children who have been a constant presence and help in his life. Karen Stevens (Jack), Lutz, FL, Thomas Fisher, Jr (Lisa), Pueblo, CO and Gary Fisher (Sherry), Ashburn, VA. He was also blessed by 5 grandchildren, Jason Stevens (Heather), Bradley Stevens, Jaclyn Stevens Rini (Dominick), Emily Fisher, Grace Fisher, and 3 great grandchildren, Brian Stevens, Andrew Stevens, and Jackson Rini. He also shared 11 years with his second wife, Ann Louise Godbee Fisher.
Tom instilled a strong work ethic in his children. He retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers where he served as an auditor. He also worked as an auditor for the State of Maryland and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. He proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves for 20 years.
Tom received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and attended pharmacy school.
He was a very kind person who took great care of his wives and instilled the value of compassion and love, putting God and family first.
Tom was proceeded in death by his parents, his brother William Fisher (Margo), his first wife Milvi Fisher, and his second wife Ann Louise Godbee Fisher. Tom is survived by his sister Lorraine Gayle (John), Suffolk, VA.
Family and friends are invited to remember Tom for a memorial service at the Trinity Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 12609 Memorial Dr., Trinity, FL 34655, on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 12 pm and viewing at 11am.
