THOMAS MICHAEL DAWE, 67, of Trinity, Fla., died January 21st, 2017 at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Fla.
Thomas was a retired police officer with the New York City Police Department. He attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 8320 Old County Road 54, in New Port Richey, Fla. Thomas was born Aug. 10, 1949, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was the son of Thomas and Georgina Dawe and sibling of Joan Russo. He was married to Kathleen A. Gallogly on July 8, 1972, in New York. He moved to Largo, Fla., in 1987. In addition to his widow, survivors include two daughters, Tara and Georgina; two sons, Michael and Thomas, who is married to Mistine; four grandchildren, Kaleigh and Michael Dawe and Matthew and Jacob Adams; and a great-grandson, Liam Adams. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy, who died May 14, 2015.
