Thomas Crawford's Obituary
Thomas Frank Crawford, 78, of Tarpon Springs, FL, passed away on June 23, 2025. He was born on September 10, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York, to Stanley and Catherine Crawford. He was raised in Maspeth, New York, with his two sisters Gladys and Susan. After graduating from Grover Cleveland High School in Ridgewood, New York, Thomas served his country in the United States Army. He then began working in ramp service with United Airlines, where he remained until his retirement. He relocated to Florida in 1992.
Thomas will be remembered for his sense of humor, honesty, generosity, and respect for others. He was a wonderful husband to Gail, his wife of 31 years, father to his sons Michael, Thomas, and Steven, and grandfather to his five grandchildren Hannah, Zach, Kyle, Karley, and Steven. An avid golfer, he held a membership at Fox Hollow Golf Club and also enjoyed horse racing and baseball games.
Thomas is survived by his wife Gail Crawford; his sons Michael, Thomas, and Steven Crawford; his sisters Gladys Sampson and Susan Lievano; his grandchildren Hannah, Zach, Kyle, Karley, and Steven Crawford; and his sister-in-law Diane Champion and brother-in-law Bill Kuehn. He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Catherine Crawford and his brothers-in-law Rafael Lievano, M.D. and Arthur Sampson.
