Thomas J. Canetta, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, in New Port Richey, Florida.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, to Joseph and Catherine Canetta, Thomas lived a life marked by humility, hard work, and a deep love for his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Canetta; his loving children, Lisa Wolfson (Jules), Thomas J. Canetta (Kimberly Kessler), Lori Siciliano (Anthony), and Lynn-Marie Albert (Christopher); his brother, Joe Canetta; and seven cherished grandchildren.
Thomas was known for his sharp wit, infectious sense of humor, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. A humble and selfless man, he lived by the motto, “First there, last to leave,” embodying a tireless work ethic and a generous spirit.
A 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and a deeply devoted man of faith, Thomas was a proud and active member of the Catholic Church. His faith guided his life and was a source of strength and compassion in all he did.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Thomas’s memory to the Diabetes Foundation, Cancer Foundation, or Marliere Hospice House.
