Thomas Lionel Beausoliel's Obituary
Thomas Lionel Beausoliel, 78 of Trinity, FL, passed on January 3, 2019 peacefully at home in the care of Hospice and his family, following a courageous battle with cancer. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, January 15th, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church at 11:00am. Following the mass, Thomas will be laid to rest with military honors at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Dr., Trinity, FL.
Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Rita; daughter Andrea, one grandson: sisters Georgiann Furman, Judy Raymond, Christine Spencer; and brother Dennis Beausoliel.
Born Oct. 4, 1940 to Lionel and Esther Beausoliel, Tom was raised in the Milldale section of Southington, CT. Shortly after graduating from Southington High School, Tom enlisted in the US Army, serving in the Corps of Engineers (heavy construction). Tom enjoyed a lifetime career as a heavy equipment operator, working 29 years for Butler Construction Co. LLC, Portland, CT. He always said he enjoyed “getting up in the morning to play with the big toys”.
Tom’s favorite hobby was cooking and he became an accomplished gourmet cook to the delight of family and friends.
