in honor of Stephen.

I had the opportunity to experience a short period of life with Steve. During that short period of time, he made me smile contagiously, learn to love fiercely, and he saved my life. (Literally. We went on a weekend vacation to St. Pete Beach, I was outside alone, and two men attempted to kidnap me. Steve found me by screams, and saved my life. Then he handled the police, and all the reports, and drove us, and my dog Lacy who we had brought with us, home— because I was in complete shock)

I miss Steve daily, he was a big part of my son, Lincoln, and I’d life. His heart and soul was beautifully crafted and so contagious. His words were intentional, and as most of the time his actions. 😉

Steve, I wish I could have one more minute with you! I love you so much. Forever and Always & I can’t wait to see you at the gates to the Kings Heavens. - Ashleigh King

We still cannot believe that you are gone…Steve you brought so much laughter and light into our lives & so many others. We shared so many good times & memories from working together at Shephards, the Christmas parties, $1 Sunday nights, Team Brown, Brown Boxer, teddy grahams, soca car rides, and David’s wedding. Just a few of the many memories that we will always cherish. We will forever miss you. Until we meet again when we are all home up there. To Stephen’s family,

Stevie, last time we talked you told me you were going to visit me in Toronto. While we never had the chance to have that visit but I am grateful for the star that you were and your ability to light up a room.
