Shirley A. Carrion's Obituary
Shirley A. Carrion, age 85, of New Port Richey, Florida (formerly of Brentwood, Long Island), passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025. Born on July 28, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York, Shirley lived a life defined by dedication to her family, pride in her work, and loyalty to the people and passions she loved.
Shirley spent 40 years working in Accounts Payable for Cancos Tile, where she was known for her strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment. Her career reflected her practical nature and steadfast sense of responsibility.
A proud New Yorker at heart, Shirley was a devoted #1 Yankees fan, a title she wore with pride. She found joy in following her team and sharing that enthusiasm with those around her.
Her greatest pride was her family. Shirley is survived by her three sons, Michael, Daniel, and Scott, and their spouses; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild, lovingly referred to as “Cheeks.” as well as her sister, Ella, and her brother, George. Shirley’s family meant everything to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Shirley was preceded in death by loved ones who welcomed her home with open arms.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family appreciates the love, support, and kindness shown during this time.
