Sharon Jean La Valley's Obituary
Sharon Jean LaValley, born in New Jersey on November 12, 1979, passed away on July 30, 2024. Despite her illness, Sharon remained a bright and resilient individual. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree and dedicated her life to helping others with her work in social services.
In her youth, Sharon enjoyed playing soccer and practicing karate. As she grew older, she channeled her love for writing into creating a children’s book, The Adventures of Fred and Hodges. Sharon also had a natural green thumb and once grew an artichoke with a large blue flower that amazed her grandmother. A special pastime for her was fishing with Bruce, her dad.
Sharon is survived by her parents, Pamela and Bruce Heinel, her grandmother, Jean Hardy, and her long-term partner, Twaina (Raven) Gannon. She was predeceased by her loving grandfather Karl Hardy. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, but she always loved them more.
