Sharon Bader Gamba's Obituary
Sharon Bader Gamba, 60, died of metastatic breast cancer on April 22, 2025 at home in Odessa, FL surrounded by her Family.
Sharon is survived by her mother, Loretta J. Bader; her husband, Rico Gamba; her children, Steven M. Gamba, Joseph T. Gamba, and Jacob P. Gamba; her siblings, Timmy M. Bader, Crystal Fraser, Wayne R. Bader, and Robert A. Bader. She was preceded in death by her father Jack F Bader and her siblings, Arthur M. Helmly Jr. (Skipper), CW2 Daniel L. Bader, Jack F. Bader Jr., and Stephen J. Bader.
Sharon was born on January 5, 1965 in Savannah, GA to Jack F. Bader and Loretta J. Bader. She met her husband, Rico Gamba, who was stationed at Eglin Air Force Base in Niceville, FL. Shortly after, they moved to Boston, MA where Sharon began her career in banking and finance. Sharon and her husband were married on January 14, 1984 in Niceville, FL. They soon received orders to Phoenix, AZ where they were blessed with their first child, Steven, in 1987. In 1988, they received orders to Ramstein, Germany where Sharon and her husband would welcome their second son, Joseph, in 1989. After several more moves, Sharon and family settled into a more steady life in Peoria, IL. They would go on to spend 17 years here where Sharon's banking career blossomed as well as her family’s as they welcomed their third son, Jacob, in 2000. In 2010, they moved across the country to California where their careers would culminate in 2020, at which time they retired to their forever home in Florida to enjoy sand, sun, and fun.
Sharon was a wonderful, caring, doting mother, wife, and partner. She balanced life, love, and family without missing a beat. She will be deeply missed by friends, family, and acquaintances from many parts of the world.
A visitation service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.; funeral service for 11:00 a.m.; reception service for 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Trinity Memorial Gardens located on 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, FL 34655. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be directed to support breast cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Sharon Gamba via jimmyfund.org/gift.
