Shahnaz Golabi Khoozani's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shahnaz Golabi Khoozani, a beloved mother, daughter, wife, and sister. Born on October 4, 1952, in Isfahan, Iran, Shahnaz departed this world on February 20, 2025, in California after a courageous 12-year battle with brain cancer.
Shahnaz was the embodiment of kindness, selflessness, and unconditional love. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, friends, and even strangers, always willing to go to any lengths to offer her support, warmth, and generosity. Wherever she was, she made it feel like home—a place of comfort, love, and unwavering care.
Above all, Shahnaz was a woman of immense strength. She faced life’s challenges with bravery, patience, and hope, never allowing adversity to dim her spirit. Her passion and energy were infectious, and her caring nature could light up any room.
Though her physical presence is no longer with us, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Her legacy of compassion, resilience, and warmth will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her life.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
There will be an intimate graveside service and burial at Trinity Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Wednesday, March 5th at 3:00pm, followed by a memorial service on Saturday, March 8th from 1:00-5:00pm. Please see the Events tab of this memorial page for additional details.
