Sandra Lea Went's Obituary
Sandra (Sandy) Lea Went (Yantzi), age 83, of Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully in her sleep Thursday evening, September 14th, 2023. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Terrance Went, Sr., her parents, Chuck and Irene Yantzi and her sister Linda Broge (Yantzi). She is survived by her two sons, Terrance Went, Jr. (Wife, Fay,) and Gregory Went (Wife, Colleen,) and her two sisters, Diane Carter (Yantzi) and Connie Balyeat (Yantzi.) She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Britny Went Leaf (Husband, Alex), Trey Went (Wife, Kerri), Zach Went, Sidney Went Carlson (Husband, Carter), Robert Went and great grandchild, Owen.
Sandra was born on May 15th, 1940, in Pigeon, Michigan. She graduated from Constantine High School. She loved her entire family greatly and was always eager to be with and love on her grandchildren. She enjoyed word search puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, boating and fishing.
Sandy's never-ending smile touched everyone she interacted with. Her loving kindness will never be forgotten by those that knew her. She always seemed to know how to help without you having to ask her. Sandy's servant spirit always kicked-in whenever there was a need. From whipping up 5-minute meals out of thin air, to helping with home construction projects (including forts), she was all-in, and all the while wearing a contagious smile. Her favorite times were always spending time with family. She will be missed tremendously by all who knew her kind heart. She is in good hands now with our Lord Jesus Christ, probably working a word search puzzle with Him right now!
