Sandra Ruberg's Obituary
Sandra "Sandy" Gail Ruberg was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 2. She passed away peacefully on March 9, 2015 surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Dorothy Fick and her brother, Fred Fick.
Sandra is survived by her sisters; Roxanne (Tom) Lawless; Pattie Wolff (Matt Schilling); and brothers; Doug (Nancy) Fick and Kolbe Fick. Sandy is also survived by her 3 loving children; Brent (Glenda) Ruberg; Aimee Ruberg; and Sarah (Mike) Wojcik and nieces, nephews and many friends including Toby Herrera who was a dear friend to her.
She was a loving Grandmother to 4 surviving grandchildren; Ashley Gayle, Kayleigh, Marshall and Chris.
Our Mom was a vivacious, witty, fun loving, caring, beautiful lady who captured the hearts of many. She loved many things in life including Elvis, Judy Garland, bowling, laughing, crossword puzzles, Westerns, Karaoke and being creative as she was an amazing artist. She loved the Holidays with Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas being her favorites.
She loved to tell a joke and one of her dreams was to be a stand up comedian.
A few of her accomplishments were; Girl Scout Leader, Flower Shop owner/designer and Guv'na of Lutz, Florida.
She has touched the lives of many and we are truly blessed to call her our mom and friend.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00 am at Trinity Memorial Gardens located at 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, Florida 34655. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time. Entombment to follow.
