Samuel Joseph Sambolin,
82, of New Port Ritchey, FL passed away at home with his wife of 63 years, Hilda, eldest daughter, Judy and nephew, Christopher by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Josepha, as well as his brothers Milton and Edward, and his sister Mildred. He is survived by his loving wife Hilda, his daughters Judy ( Tony Rubino) and Joanne (McMullen), Son-in-Love Tony Rubino, 10 Grandchildren, Allie, Tony, and Sam (Nicole) Rubino , Serenity, Uriah, Naquiy, Caiyeh, Janelle, Rory and Avery McMullen, and 3 Great Grandchildren Dru, Johnny and Jayden, his sisters Iris (Sebastian)Fiorello, Josephine(John) Garcia, older brother George, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Sam was born in Manhattan, NY and raised in the Bronx. They moved to North Bellmore New York, and from there moved their life here to New Port Richey in 1997. He was 1 of 7 children. He married the love of his life, Hilda, on 11/28/1953. He served during the Korean War in Frankfurt, Germany with the US Army. After the war, he was part of the Carpenters Union of NYC. In his time of leisure, he was an active member with the National Campers and Hikers Association known as the Bronx Broncos. His second love was fishing with his cousin Joe. He enjoyed gardening,music, the outdoors, as well as spending time with his family. A celebration of his life will be held sometime this Summer.
