Rosa Maria Gutierrez de Perez's Obituary
Rosa María Gutiérrez de Pérez, who came into this world on November 12, 1975, in Caracas, Venezuela, departed from us on June 7, 2024, in Tampa, Florida. She was born to her esteemed parents, the late Manuel A. Gutierrez and Rosalba Perez de Gutierrez. Rosa Maria was a woman of exceptional dedication and discipline, a testament to the enduring influence of her father's perfectionism and her mother's moral strength.
Her formative years were spent under the loving care of her maternal grandmother in Colombia, an experience that rooted her deeply in religious commitment and moral integrity. Rosa Maria's intellectual progress shone brightly when she earned her degree in Industrial Engineering in 1999 in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela.
The call of higher education beckoned her to the shores of the United States, where fate would make her cross paths with Francisco Pérez, her future husband. Their shared dreams and aspirations led them back to Venezuela to exchange wedding vows and embark on the noble journey of building a family. The couple was eager to start their own family, and their sons, Sebastian and Diego, had significant importance in their lives. After a few years, they decided to immigrate to the United States, where they faced initial challenges, but with faith, things improved, especially with the arrival of their youngest son, Mathias.
Rosa María's love knew no limits, extending to her beloved pets, Vicky and later Ellah, who were her precious companions. Her lifelong friendships, especially with her inseparable childhood friend Adriana Maurera, were sources of great joy and comfort. Her vocation as an Industrial Engineer was exercised with passion, both in her father's company and upon her arrival in the United States.
A pillar of faith, Rosa Maria was a devoted member of the Elijah Temple Church, where she dedicated herself to women's ministry and the betterment of her church's community. Her commitment to her faith and love for her church were unwavering.
Rosa María Gutiérrez de Pérez is survived by her husband, Francisco Pérez; sons, Sebastián, Diego and Matías Pérez; her mother, Rosalba Pérez de Gutiérrez; sisters, Claudia Eslava and Carolina Norris; and a congregation of friends who were touched by her grace. Now she joins her father, Manuel A. Gutierrez, in eternal rest. Rosa Maria's legacy of unassailable virtue and devoted service will continue to shine as a beacon of love and fidelity in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit, a gentle whisper of resilience and love, will forever resonate with us.
