Ronald Paul Snider's Obituary
Ronald Paul Snider, 80, of Tampa Florida, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at AdventHealth Tampa Hospital. Ronald was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and cherished friend. He was married to Linda, his loving wife of 59 years until her passing in March, 2023. Ronald is survived by his children, David (Marci) Snider, Sharalyn (Thomas) LeVine; grandchildren, Justin (Sierra), Jacob, Cameron, Rachel, and Madison; brother, Alan (Stephanie) Snider; sister, Lynn (Ted) Tarant and brother-in-law Paul Fuhr. Ronald is also survived by one aunt and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Vivian Snider, and his wife, Linda Snider.
Ronald earned his Bachelor's degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1963. He had a successful career and provided a wonderful life for his family. At the time of his retirement and relocation to Florida, Ronald owned the VIP Agency, an Employee Benefits Consulting Firm. Aside from his prosperous career, Ronald was an avid fisherman, golfer, and sports enthusiast, and he loved camping, boating, and hiking outdoors. He enjoyed traveling and had a passion for luxury sports cars. He was loving, kind, and generous with family and friends, always putting others before himself, and a big believer in the old Golden Rule. He and Linda were deeply involved with Marriage Encounter, an organization dedicated to improving marriages through dialog and better spousal understanding, and together they led many marriage encounter weekends guiding hundreds of married couples. In his final years, he wrote a book about Marriage Encounter that is in the process of getting published.
Ronald was an incredible father and grandfather and will be forever missed by his family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at noon; at Trinity Memorial Gardens at 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, Fl,34655. There will be a reception following the service. The family invites all who knew and loved Ron to attend this Celebration.
