Ronald Morris' Obituary
Ronald “Ron” M. Morris passed away peacefully on November 23, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jacquelyn. He is survived by his loving children, Kimberly (Rick), Shirley, and Ronald Jr. (Julie); his grandchildren, Ricky (Vida), Patrick (Charlotte), Nicholas (Quincy), Jaclyn (Chad), Mark, Chase, and Caitlin; his brothers John (Jeanne) and Tony (Sue) and sister Vicki (Gary); his great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends who were dear to him.
Ron lost his beloved wife and mother of his children, Jacquelyn C. Morris, at the age of 58, far too soon. Since then, he has never found another love like hers.
Ron was born in Saginaw, Michigan, served in the Army at an early age, and received an honorable discharge after being wounded in combat. He came home to his family after the military where he worked in the family restaurant business which is where he eventually met his forever wife.
Ron broke away from the food and beverage industry and tried his hand at selling manufactured homes in Michigan, soon realizing that he could do well for his family in this industry. In 1977, he packed his family up and headed to Florida, where he flourished in sales and development throughout his career. Ultimately, Ron worked for some of the largest Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) corporations trading on the stock exchange and held numerous awards with FMHA (Florida Manufactured Housing Association) over his career.
Ron was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends.
We will always carry his memory in our hearts.
Funeral services and a reception will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 1 pm – 4 pm at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
