Roman Rodintsov's Obituary
Roman Rodintsov, 43, of Tampa, Florida, passed away unexpectedly at AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute, leaving behind a legacy of strength, ambition, and unwavering devotion to his family. Born on March 20, 1982, in Chervona Sloboda, Cherkasy Region of Ukraine, Roman grew up surrounded by the love of his mother, Liubov Samolenko, his stepfather, Serhii Samolenko, and his father, the late Artur Rodintsov. A gifted student with a passion for helping others, he earned his Medical Doctor degree in Family Medicine from Kharkiv National Medical University before embarking on a life filled with achievement and purpose.
Roman excelled in every endeavor he pursued. From playing professional basketball on the national level, to rising to the role of Field Force Manager at a multinational pharmaceutical company in Ukraine, he consistently pushed himself to new heights. After immigrating to the United States, Roman built a transportation company from the ground up—an accomplishment that reflected his drive, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit. Despite his many professional successes, nothing meant more to him than the time he spent with his family and friends. He found joy in simple pleasures: fishing, grilling, playing basketball, and creating memories with those he loved most.
Roman is survived by his devoted wife, Tetiana Munzhyu, whom he married on February 13, 2015, and their beloved children: sons Viacheslav, Rostyslav, and Aaron, and daughter Camilla. He is also survived by his other son Maksim; his parents, Liubov and Serhii Samoilenko; his sister, Veronika Haidaienko, her husband Oleg, and their daughter Kseniia; and his brother, Aleksander Samoilenko. Roman was preceded in death by his father, Artur Rodintsov.
A Visitation and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, FL 34655. Roman will be remembered for his drive, unshakeable determination, and the profound love he had for his family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed, and his memory will forever remain with all who knew him.
