Aunt Patsy you will be missed. As a child I remember going to the Bronx to visit and all of you coming to Queens for a visit. You had a great sense of humor and were so full of love. You were an amazing woman, wife , mother, mother in-law and grandmother. May your soul be at peace with our Heavenly Father.
Uncle Gobind, Roland, Gregory, Camille, Tita, Sean and Brittany may the care and love of those around you provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead. My most sincere condolences.
To my extended family, the Bedi's, accept the condolences of my sister Joanne and I. Aunty Patsy will truly be missed especially for her humor and all the love she extended to my Mom. Having left Trinidad as a child, she is one of the few people I remembered from my child and she will always remain in my hearts. So, dear sweet soul collect your robe and crown and may you soar with the angels.
Aunty Patsy, I will miss your wit, your laughter, your generosity and your love. Rest in God's perfect peace aunty. May the Holy Spirit console Uncle Gobind, Gregory, Roland and Tita and Camille, Sean and Brittany and the entire extended family.
Heavenly Father you created us all to be with you in your Heavenly Kingdom after our Life here on earth.
We ask you today to reward our sister Roma Bedi affectionately called Patsy for her example of love for all people and her life of selflessness towards others.
We pray that you will grant her everlasting rest with you and your son Jesus and Mother Mary in your Heavenly Kingdom.
Roma, also affectionately called Patsy, was our dearest cousin, although she was more like a sister. Patsy had a great sense of style and was always dressed impeccably, with her long perfectly manicured nails.
She was loving, gracious, smart and generous, and a beautiful person, who had a great sense of humour combined with a little touch of good mischievousness.
We, the cousins, lived with our beloved Aunty Vicky, the matriarch of the Teague family, and the sister of our father Sammy, to attend school in the city. We developed a very close relationship with our Aunty and our cousins, especially Patsy who was nearest our ages.
She always expressed her love for us by saying “I love Uncle Sammy’s children”. We always loved you too, dearest cousin !!!
We will take a few lines from a poem to say farewell, and she would have said:
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free
I’m following the path God laid for me
I took his hands when I heard His call
I turned my back and left it all.
Lift up your heart and share with me
God wanted me now. He set me free.
I know Patsy’s life been full, she savoured much
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch
God saw her tired and called her home.
On this earth, no more will she roam
Patsy, we will miss you dearly, but you will always be in our hearts. May your soul rest in the peace of the Lord!!
Our sincerest and heartfelt condolences to our beloved Carl, Camille, Gregory, Roland and their families.
Your loving surviving Perot Cousins- Yvonne, Elton, Cynthia, Phyllis, Monica and Rose
God Bless!!
