Robert Sudol Jr's Obituary
Robert John Sudol, Jr. was born April 16, 1948 to Robert and Mary Sudol in Passaic NJ. He showed an early interest in music and learned to play the guitar in his childhood home in Clifton NJ. He excelled as a pitcher in little league baseball although a shoulder injury would shorten his aspirations of advancing in the sport.
Robert graduated Clifton High School in 1966 and soon after married his high school sweetheart, Katherine Robinson on October 2, 1971. Making a living as a professional musician early on in life then transitioning into finance as a stock broker, he fathered three beautiful children. Aside from music he also spent time as a working photographer primarily capturing cityscapes, advertisements, and portrait work. Life then took him to Tampa FL where he would become a fixture in the Tampa night club scene.
Most will remember my father as a jocular, intelligent man with a quick wit. The phrase "they broke the mold when they made him" seems to apply best when describing my father. He was often seen dressed to the nines, and known for his knowledge of the stock market. His affinity for repeating certain catch-phrases can only be appreciated and remembered by those who knew him best.
After living a full life, Robert succumbed to pancreatic cancer in his home surrounded by family, at the early age of 69 on August 21, 2017. He is pre-deceased by Robert and Mary Sudol (parents) and Sharon Kloss (sister). He leaves behind his three heartbroken children - Kristina, Robert, Katherine, a grand-daughter Marina, and his ex-wife.
