It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Wayne Lowman Jr. announces his sudden passing at the age of 49 on September 19, 2023, at his home in Land O’Lakes, FL. The only comfort we have is knowing he has been reunited with his mother and brother in heaven.
Rob was born on July 2, 1974, in Charleston, SC. His dad was in the military, so he learned at an early age how to make friends and adapt quickly to change. He grew up participating in men’s gymnastics and dance competitions. He loved all types of music, went to a ton of concert over the years, and wasn’t afraid to sing at the top of his lungs. Rob spent most of his career as a finance manager in the automotive industry; he was a car guy through and through and fed off the adrenalin from being so successful while helping others. He loved being the center of attention and always made the impossible possible.
Rob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 20 years, children, father, siblings, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and his dog. Those who knew Rob will always remember him for his big heart, larger than life personality, generosity, and his ability to brighten up a room with his smile and contagious laugh. He loved his children, family, and friends with all his heart, and was a father figure to many others over the years. Once you were in his circle, you were family for life. Rob went out of his way to help anyone and everyone he cared about, as well as complete strangers. He always had a story to tell, a joke to make, or a laugh to be had.
A service for friends and family will be held at Trinity Memorial Gardens on September 30, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for financial support to get through this difficult and unexpected time. A Go Fund Me, https://gofund.me/19278ebe, has been created for those who would like to donate.
RIP Rob Lowman! You will truly be missed by all.
